East of Scotland Kart Club is committed to safeguarding the welfare of everyone involved in our Club, including competitors, young people, parents and carers, officials, volunteers, team members and visitors.
Safeguarding is about creating an environment where people feel safe, respected and able to speak up if something does not feel right.
ESKC Safeguarding
Our ESKC Safeguarding leads are Debbie Morham, Richard Tyler and Anne Savage. They are available to listen, provide support and help ensure that any safeguarding concerns are dealt with appropriately.
You can speak to Debbie, Richard or
Anne if you are worried about yourself, another competitor, a child, an adult at risk or someone's behaviour.

When Should I Speak Up?
Please speak to us if something doesn't feel right.
A safeguarding concern could include:

Bullying or intimidation

Physical, emotional or sexual abuse

Neglect

Inappropriate behaviour or contact

Harassment or discrimination

Concerns about the behaviour of an adult towards a child or adult at risk

Something that has happened online or through social media

Concerns about your own welfare or wellbeing

Something you have witnessed involving somebody else
You do not need to decide whether something is "serious enough" before speaking to us. If you are concerned, tell someone.
