Hello everyone
To let you all know the track will be closed on sat 6th and Sunday 7th February 2010 so we can get the track ready for this coming season.
The last work party we had was a great success however we still have some more fencing to put up
And several other smaller jobs have to done in order to get the track ready for racing this year.
The Supermoto guys will also be working on their off road sections this weekend.
If you can spare some time on either day it would be appreciated.
Could all those who can make it send me an email so I can get an idea of the number of people to cater for.
Regards
Jamie Glen

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who helped this weekend. We achieved an amazing amount of work for a small number of people. It just goes to show how much can be done by a few dedicated members willing to help the development of their track.
Thanks Again
Jamie Glen.

The track will be closed on the 12th and 13th December as we need to carry out some routine work to fencing, tire barriers and such like. Therefore we require as many people as possible to help with the work and improve the site for everyone. So if you can help on these dates please pop along, the more the merrier.

The committee would like to thank Matthew Roll and Graeme Millar for their commitment and hard work over the last year. The AGM went well with many positive views and suggestions being made as to how 2010 can be run successfully however this was the views of all who attended the AGM, therefore I would like to invite all drivers who use Crail to email me their ideas on any improvements they would like to see happen in 2010.

Yes, its AGM time again! I am standing down as chairman and Graeme Millar has also told me that he intends standing down as competition secretary. Clubs like the ESKC only survive because a club is run by its members. The club is not a club without its members, however the members will not have a club unless the members are prepared to get involved in running the club. All too often those present at the AGM get their arm twisted to agree to take on a certain role in the club. There are of course certain positions in the club that MUST be filled, or the club will cease to exist in its current incarnation. It should therefore seem obvious to those reading this that this letter is being sent out to every member of the ESKC to ask if they are willing and able to turn up to the AGM, offer to help out in the running of the club over the next year in some way, and in doing so help the club to hopefully survive or even thrive. We all know that there have been difficult economic times recently and it is therefore even more important that the ESKC’s members continue to support the club in whatever way they can, in order to secure the club’s future. I therefore hope that as you read this letter you will ask yourself “what you can do for the club, rather than what the club can do for you”! The AGM this year is on Wednesday 28th October at 7.30pm in the bar at the leisure complex at Cairnsmill Caravan Park, just outside St Andrews (up the hill on the road to Leven). The postcode is KY16 8NN if you want to use a routefinder or satnav. I very much hope that as many of you out there as possible will come along to the AGM in order to secure the club’s future. The more people that are willing to help out, the easier it will be for everyone involved to share the load. If there are any specific items you would like discussed at the AGM, please e-mail them to me at matthew.roll@btinternet.com . Cheers, Matt
